If you had a DNA test from the National Geographic Society and have not transferred your DNA sample to Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) please do so. It is FREE. You can also join surname projects at FTDNA, also FREE. It is my understanding the National Geographic Society will start destroying the samples they have collected. FTDNA will keep them for 25 years.
