I have run into that where Ellen called herself Ella, where Elizabeth was Betsy, Helen was called Ellen etc etc, but when they put nicknames on cemetery stones I really get upset!!!!!!! all too often.
keep looking !!!!! I have been at it since 1980 and am still amazed at what I find.
