I have a list of all the Prac(e)ys indexed by the GRO from 1837-1980. According to my list Gertrude Rhoda PRACEY was born in 1892 at Holborn, the eldest of at least 9 children, but I have no record of a marriage for her parents. (If her mother was German and they married over there, that would explain it.) They are not in my branch of the family so I've never obtained a certificate, but could do so if you're interested. The father may be Henry PRACEY (1873-1955) but I'm not sure. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

I believe we are decendants of John Pracey who came from Wiltshire, England. He is in the ontario census of 1871. The census doesn't give much info. on him. If anyone knows anything please contact me at shelly_welly82@hotmail.com

Yes, there are Prac(e)ys out there

I'm also a descendant of Edman and Lucy via one of John and Ann's siblings. I'm also in touch with a few other Prac(e)y researchers and am happy to try to help if you let me know what information you're after. I've found a few references to Praceys in Canada and the USA and am curious about a possible connection.
