Dear Mr. Prager, My Grandfather William Jung of Queens New York was born in Ronneburg Thur. and had a friend Paul Prager. My Mother visited Ronneburg with her parents in 1926 and they visited Mr. Prager's mother outside of Ronneburg. I have some photos of Mr. Prager. He had one son. I can no longer remember his wife's name. She had jet black hair and was a very lively and humourous person. I have been to Ronneburg in Thuringia myself many times. Let me know if this is your family.

My father was Joseph W. Prager, deceased 11-5-05. His mother was Florence Handle & Bernard Robinson. Grandparents were Ward & Eva (Poulin - Handle) Prager. Bernard went on to marry Florences sister Margarite. There was also a brother Harry Handle. Would this be of any relation? Ward & Eva lived in Watertown, CT. We had family all around CT. Thomaton, Terryville, Morris, West Hartford, Washington & the Danbury area.

Please email me direct if you think there is any relation.
sduby@embarqmail.com or suduby@hotmail.com

Couldn't find on 1910 or 1920 & then my brother informed me he believed he moved to WVA. Found a Henry on 1920 WVA census and information supplied ties into what was reported on 1900 NY census. Henry was reported to have wife Margart E ?. Just wondering if this jogs anyones memory of Pragers in WVA?

Hi. I have just read your family tree info. My Grand father was Lewis Prager born in Prussia in Kolo, Kalisz around 1860. Lewis married a Selina Sharpe. They immigrated to England around 1890. My Uncles were Arthur, Sydney, Reginald and Cyril. Reginald went to South America after WW 2. My father went to South Africa in 1926. Athur, Sydney and Cyril changed their surnames by deed poll to Francis. My Great Grandfather was Alexander Prager. Was wondering if there was any connection. The remaining 1st cousins of which there aer six, with me being the youngest, are .living in London and Hull and one cousin in Los Angeles.
