Shawnee: Mrs. Mollie Prairie has received a verdict in her suit against the Shawnee Light & Power Company, granting her the sum of $3,000. Mrs. Prairie was suing the company for damages resulting from the death of her husband, who while employed as a lineman by the company, fell from a pole. After coming in contact with a live wife he received injuries which resulted fatally. The sum of $10,000 was asked for. The application for a new trial will be filed by the defendants.
