I'm having a devil of a time finding the marriage license for THROMPSON ARNOLD PRESSLY (b. 2 Dec 1887, Sweethome, Lavaca County, TX; d. 31 Dec 1937, Beaumont, Jefferson County, TX) and ELIZABETH AMELIA MEYER (b. 15 Nov 1890, Houston, Harris County, TX, d. 24 Apr 1963, Houston, Harris County, TX). They had to have been married sometime between about 1908 and 1917. I was told they were married in Houston, as that is where all her family lived, and the Pressly's had moved to Houston also in the early 1900's. His draft registration dated June 1917 lists a "sickly wife". They are both on the 1920 census for Beaumont, TX. I've looked everywhere for the marriage license. Anyone have any ideas?
