I've been looking for the marriage license of THOMPSON ARNOLD PRESSLY (B. 2 Dec 1887, Sweethome, Lavaca County, TX; D. 31 Dec 1937, Beaumont, Jefferson County, TX) and ELIZABETH AMELIA MEYER (b. 15 Nov 1890, Houston, Harris County, TX; d. 24 Apr 1963, Houston, Harris County, TX). They had to have been married probably between 1908 and 1917. They were married in Houston, as that is where her family lived; and the Pressly's moved there in the early 1900's. They are on the 1920 census for Beaumont, Jefferson County, TX. Also, on his draft registration, dated June 1917, he lists a "sickly wife" for the reason he did not want to be drafted. Can anyone help me. Thanks.
