Hello everyone,

I am searching for any information on the following “Prest” family.


Father: Carmen or Camille Prest
Father DOB: January 8, 1858
Mother: Delina Bergeron
Mother DOB: January 12, 1868

Son: Joseph Prest – DOB: May 15, 1885
Son: Freddie Prest – DOB: June 1, 1886
Son: George Prest – DOB: May 1, 1888 Born: Pittsburg, Pennsylvania
Son: Willie Prest – DOB: May 8, 1893
Son: Pierre Prest – DOB: May 39, 1898
Daughter: Delina Prest – DOB: July, 1900

This information was found in the 1901 Canada Census. George Prest was born in Pittsburg and some or all of his siblings might have also been born there.

I was told that the original family name was “Presta” and Italian in origin. Have anyone ever heard of this?
