We have a William Preston b. 1829 England who emigrated at age 6 with his family arriing in New York on 1 Jun 1835 on the ship "Robert Watt." I know more about his mother and siblings than I do him. This William in 1880 census is in Buffalo, NY and owns a bone yard; he's m. to Magaret Unk about 1848. By 1900 census he's dead and his son William Preston Jr is running the show. Children are Mary Ann, Rosina, George, Cornelius, Susan, William and Sophia. Is this any help?
