Glad to know your out there,I was begining to think I am the only one with an interest in our family history.I am an ex-pat scouser,having migrated to Aus in 1967;and am researching the family name.Pretten is the Luxembourgish name for a hamlet called Prettingen in Luxembourg.If you contact me by e-mail I can give you more details of the Prettens back to Wm. about 1811 in Liverpool.
