Has anyone heard of this game? It was played in my father's family in the early 1900's. I am wondering if it originated with one of the above-named families. Hands are coupled in a stack (or stalk) each fist with the thumb pointed up and the next fist wrapped around that fist and so on. The last one to join the fist stalk asks a certain question, which is answered; another question and another answer; the litany of questions and answers ends with the answer, "Behind the door cracking nuts. The first one speaks gets a pinch and a bump."
