E. J. Prough letter - 1891 Texas

Surnames: Prough, Fuller, Sloan
Hello all,

I found a letter today at an antique store and brought it home. Hoping to find a direct descendent to give it to.

The letter is from "Rosa" of Bluespring, Georgia to Mr. E. J. Prough of San Antonio, TX. It is dated Dec. 1891. Rosa later refers to E. J. as "Ed" and as a friend.

From the letter, I gather that "Ed" was having health problems and possibly went to TX for that reason. Rosa writes as if she expects Ed to return to "town" (Blue Spring, GA).

Other names mentioned in the letter are Maggie who married John (no surname); Fannie (no surname); Rossa Fuller; and Mr. Sloan.

If this is your family or if you can identify these people, please post a reply.
