And did you ever consider another correct spelling is Prochnicki. It is pronounced the same way in Polish. Sorry to add to the confusion. Tom Pruchnicki, Hamden, CT nhrhta@snet.net

My father is William T. Prucknic from Lincoln Park, Michigan. His father's name is Paul. I've been searching through the different websites and come across your e mail.

I am sure you would have more information on them then I do. It is more difficult for me to trace back because of the different spellings of our names and we are not from Pennsylvania.

I am married and have been for 25 years. I have four kids. I live in Riverview, Michigan. Last time I got together with the whole family was for Walter and Rose's 50 th wedding anniversary. This is my father's brother and wife.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Bill

Bill,

Greetings cousin! I am from Albert's line, Paul's brother. I've actually exchanged info with your father last year. Walter and Rose live next to Johnstown where I grew up. Send me your address to haliku@yahoo.com and I'll send you a copy of the family tree as I have it. If you prefer electronic I can send you a copy of the database. Perhaps you can flesh out some info from your generation?

Cheers,
Chris
If you can narrow down your request you might have a better chance of a response. How about adding a mention of the time frame and location in USA or old country you are searching.

Cheers,
Chris
I know there are other Pruchniks out there. I'm hoping I'm not the only one researching the family history.

My interest is in three brothers (Albert, Paul, John) that came to USA between 1895-1905 from Austria Poland and settled in Windber, Pa working as coal miners. One line stayed in the area (Albert). Paul's branch split between Windber and Detroit, MI. John's split between New Jersey and Ocala, Fl area.

I've come across plenty of other Pruchnik or Pruchnic names during my searches. If any names have come through in your research lets talk.

Cheers,
Chris
