Hi this could be the John Pryce I'm looking for. I've copied the following from his marriage certificate which was in his daughter's possession when she died a few years ago. This is the onyl info I have on this family so would be grateful for any info you could share, includign a copy of the birth certificate.

Hi My name is Leon Pryce...My father came from portland. I never knew my father, however l was always told he went by the name of "Danny" but on my Birth Certificate it states Lester Pryce..he was a cultivator. He often went away to work in Clarendon which is where he met my mother and was living in Banks. He was born in St Catherine. He was married and had other children living in Portland. He was 33 years when l was born, so that means, he would of been 85 now if he was still alive. But l was told by my mother, he passed. My mothers name was Catherine Williams but she has since pass too. I lived in England for over 30 years but l was born in Jamaica. I think my fahter was born in the year 1925 if my calculations is correct.

I am searching for the antecedents of Thomas Pryce, s. of David Pryce born at Penrhiew, Llanfair ca 1830-40, but am unable to identify a family to date.
Thomas died tragically in Liverpool just 3 weeks after the death of his wife Ann (nee Thomas) leaving a young son Evan David Pryce to be raised by his maternal g'parents. Any assistance would be valued!

hi susan many thanks for your email. my son has found this, GEORGE OLIVER PRYCE 1920 mothers name bradburn district KINGSTON county of middlesex, surrey volume 2a,page1085 we lived in hampton hill and used to walk the few streets to kingston where my dad lived with his parents, mum 7 dad devorced after the war. my dad had a brother richard who also was a career officer in the RAF im new at this so ill keep going on, i did email records in london for copy of his birth certificate and awaiting reply will keep you posted, jim pryce.

i was born in hampton hill middlesex county 1939, came to australia 1951. my father george oliver pryce was in the RAF during the war and i believe went to new zealand after he retired from the RAF. he lived near kingston before i left for australia. im trying to find out where and when he was born and his mothers name? any help would be great, many thanks james colin pryce.

I know your query is a bit old, but I have some info on Mary Ann Feutrill. She was born in 1835 to parents Samuel and Jane Hogben. They were married 16 January, 1835.

Samuel's father was Theophilus Feutrill, he was in the NSW Corps.

"Thomas Price (Pryce) marriage to Sarah Ann Powell (?) ca. 1780 Wales"

We are looking for any information/documented evidence related to
the marriage of a Thomas Price or Pryce (1754-1836) of Wales and a Sarah Ann
Powell (?-last name is the issue) around 1780 in, we believe, Dolau,
Radnorshire, Wales. We
are certain that her name was Sarah Ann but have been unable to document the
Powell. That's what we need help with.

One of our deceased relatives, Harvey Eber Price of Calif., had stated that
Sarah Ann' maiden surname was Powell. Unfortunately, he never documented or
otherwise noted his source of this info. We believe that he may have gotten
this info from some Powell family letters located in Pennsylvania. We could use
some help from any Pennsylvania Powell's who have done genealogical research.

A very brief condensed version of this Price branch is as follows: Thomas moved
from Dolau, Radnorshire, Wales to near Hay, Breconshire, Wales in 1796. He was
most likely a weaver. Thomas, his wife Sarah, children Mary, Elizabeth, John
and Edward emigrated to America in 1821. They arrived in Baltimore and made
their way to Steubenville, Ohio. There after a short time Sarah Ann died about
1822. The
cemetery there has been moved since that time and she has been reinterred in an
unmarked grave. Thomas Price and his children moved on to the Newark and
Granville, Ohio area in 1823 and settled there in the Welsh Hills. He and his
family made a life for themselves there on the Price Family Farm. Thomas died
in 1836 in Newark, Ohio. There are
many, many Price descendants in that area.

If you can offer anything towards helping us solve this mystery of Sarah Ann'
maiden surname it would be most appreciated.

I have a Martha Pryce in my family tree dated 1861, she was aged 29 born Montgomery, and married my Grandfather X3 Henry Beddow and they lived in Brosely in Shropshire.

At the time of the cencus in 1861, her mother Ann Pryce and her niece Charlotte Rowland born Llantoham in Montgomery both lived at the same address in Shropshire.

Hi VIcki,
It's likely that there is some connection although I can't prove it at the moment. I can only go back as far as Evan Astley abt 1815 who was born in Penegoes and married Martha Bumford abt 1818 Llandinam. They had 13 children with the eldest ones born in Carno and the younger ones in Llanwnog. Richard is one of the family names. I do have the memorial inscriptions for Llanwnog Parish Church and Richard and Jane and Margaret and George are buried there -- do you have this information? There are other Astley's and Pryce's buried there also if you know other names.

My great grandfather from Montgomery (c1867) married Emily Jane Prouse in Exeter in 1892. They moved to Llangattock, Crickhowell and had four children, one of which was my grandfather, Reginald James Pryce. He married Catherine Morgan and lived in Pontfaen, Breconshire. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.

Clarence Price was my G.father killed abt.1932,my father was 6 mo.s old.He remembers visiting his grave some where in Bridgeton,New Jersey but moved away to Cal. when he was 7 yrs. old and now at the age of 70 his memory of the grave is cloudy & he has never had any contact from that side of the family.
He does however remember an Uncle Roland & Aunt Myrt.
Clarence was a certifiied Moritican (eeww) and was in the process of going into buisness with a friend.He was abt. 6'2"and played the piano very well.
I only know Roland was 2 yr.s older than he.
Any info is sooo important and I thank you for your response.
