Not familiar with a Victoria Ptak on my Grandmother Helena Ptak's side of the family. Helena Ptak had sisters but no mention of a Victoria. Thanks for the post.

Don't know if this will help. My Grandmother's name was Victoria Ptak, married to Michael Selinga. From Poland. Came to America thru Austria.

My grandmother, Helena Ptak was born 1/29/1896 in Dulcza Wielka, Podkarpackie Poland. She had three sisters (Anna, Rosa and Sophie)and a brother Andrew. Helena was the only one to come to America (that I know of) and I am seeking information for that branch of family tree.

My husband would like to know more about his
heritage. His father, Josef Ernst Ptak, came
to Canada in the early 1950's. He came from
East Germany; but, he was born in a small town
in Czechoslovakia. His mother, Erica Frieda
Thiel, came to Canada about the same time by
way of England, Austria, Czechoslovakia. Ric
doesn't know much about either family. He has
an aunt in Toronto, Ontario, Canada whose name
