Just going back through old posts and saw that you said you might have some documents regarding your dad... just wondering what you might have?

Lyn and I just met your cousin Mona who lives in 100 Mile House. She has a stack of pictures of your Dad's family, so we are hoping to get some of them scanned.

You might remember me from my research into the Sheldon family?
Elsie May Puckey was my husband's grandmother- she was married to Albert Sheldon.
I have a lot of detail on her, she was a very nice old lady who I loved dearly. Sadly she died a few years ago now but the following is a potted history for her and her family:-
Up until the 20th century most of the Puckeys on her side of the family were with the Customs and Excise, so they moved around a bit!
Robert Puckey, b1900 Fowey,Cornwall- wife Hannah,also 1900,b Barton Regis,Gloucester. Robert was with the Customs&Excise. They had at least two sons,Robert Eley Puckey,b1842,Shaftesbury,Dorset, and George Scarlett Puckey, born Warminster, Wiltshire. Robert E joined the Excise, and married Jane Egertonb Kennington, Surrey c1847.- they had the following children- Edith H b1868,Bromley. Eleanor J b1869,Swaffham, Norfolk.Robert Kelsey b 1871,Swaffham. Margaret A b1872,Swaffham. Eley Scarlettb1876,Swaffham( a very good artist, who worked for Stockport Gas Co.!!). Winefrid Hb 1879,Woodhouse, Yorkshire. Ethel M b1882 Handsworth,Yorkshire, and Edgar E b 1885,Royston. Lancashire. Robert Kelsey Puckey was Elsie May's father- He married Amelia Orwell in Dec. 1901 in Newcastle under Lyme- Their children were Elsie, Robert K, Dolly and Olive (who died in infancy) plus one or perhaps two others who died very young. Elsie worked as a paintress at the Wedgwood pottery in Etruria.She lived in Romiley, near Stockport for most of her married life, where her husband was a dog breeder and handler. She died in Romiley, and is survived by her daughter Sylvia, son Bill and their families.

Have done a bit further research on Jessie and have found the following about her family (have not managed to link them to mine yet though) Seems she comes from the Polperro Puckey family....

I have a Richard Puckey born 1912 in Fernie BC most likely a son of one of these, but death certificate states parents as unknown.... BC records are only released to 1903 for births....
