Looking for info on Azariah Pugh who was the son of Thomas Pugh who was the son of Ellis Pugh.
A letter that I have from my Grandmother say that Ellis came to this country from Wales in 1687 with his son Thomas. Ellis was a Quaker minister and settled in Pennsylvania.
Azariah was born in Pennsylvania but moved to Virginia and on to South Carolina.
Ellis Pugh was born in Wales in 1659.
