Surnames: Purkiss, Brooks
Sarah Purkiss b. 1849 of Theydon Bois married James Brooks of Wyverstone. They subsequently moved to Leytonstone and their daughter May Brooks was my great grandmother. Sarah's mother was Hannah and her father James Purkiss of Theydon Bois.
I suspect some of the current Purkisses of the area may be related to me? Anyone researching?
