I am looking for information on a Franklin David Smith born in Darlington County, SC but he resided in or near the Covington IN or Danville area. There may be a connection between him and a Dorothy Purple from that area of IN. They may have been married or possibly had a child together. The time fram would be within the late 1950's into the early 1960's. I know very little about my grandfather or his family, and I was given the name of Dorothy Purple by a family member who said that he was with her for a while.
