John married Mary Jane LONG born Mar. 22, 1802 TN. Her parents were Henry LONG and Mary SHARP.
John and Mary Jane had following children:
Celia b. 1823, Wm. B. b. 1825, Ewing Harvey b. 1827, Catherine Josephine b. 1829, Louisa b. 1831, Andrew Jackson b. 1833, Nelson b. 1835, Charles b. 1838, George b. ca 1838, Smiley M. b. 1839, Jonathan b. 1842, and Cyrus Knight b. 1844.
