Classification: Query
Surnames: Puterbaugh/Butterbaugh/Buterbaugh
A descendant of the unattached Butterbaugh line of Blair county PA as defined in Marie Goods book had their Y-Dna tested and the information from this Y-Dna tells us he is a match to 2 other males. One Puterbaugh and one Buterbaugh.
(Notice Indiana Co. Buterbaugh have one t while the Blair Co and Clearfield Co use tt in their name)

So the Blair Co Butterbaugh that tested 67 markers is a match to both John Peter and George. When the Buterbaugh match to Butterbaugh get his 67 markers we might have more information for you.
The Y-DNA tells us that the George Jung matches John Peter Puterbach. Now the unattached Butterbaugh can say they are also from that line. Still the NJ Puterbaugh family tested 2 that match each other but not the George or John Peter family.
