Helen Putnam graduated from the University of Chicago in 1908, Ed. B. She married Eugene Plumb Andrews, a professor of archaeology in the Department of Classics at Cornell, in 1919. EPA died in 1957; HPA in 1961. They had no children. EPA files are in the Carl A. Kroch Library at Cornell.
