Looking for information on Private Ephraim Putman who served in the 2nd Regiment of York Militia during the War of 1812. He would have been living in one of several townships along the western shore of Lake Ontario in 1812. I have 2 militia records for 1812 but no family history at this time. He did not appear in the militia records for 1813 or 1814 and may have moved elsewhere.
