I have a John M Putman in 1900 census born in Alabama and he has a son Joe born about 1900 in Texas. They are in Imperial Valley California, in 1900. There is a Mattie as well. I also have a Jack Lee Putman born in Sutter County, CA in 194.. son of Grover Cleveland Putman..all I know.
