Missouri Rushing and Nataniel Prevatte Pyron

Surnames: Rushing/Pyron
Dear Friends,
I am searching for the mother of Missouri Rushing (b. 1/1850/MS and d. 3/1/1899). Missouri's father was George W. Rushing (b. 1825/AL). Missouri's mother was apparently born around 1826 in MS.
I know that Missouri herself married Nataniel Prevatte Pyron, and like most geneological lines, I have been able to trace his family but not hers.
Missouri Rushing's mother's name has been given as Mary, Mahala and other names, always with a question mark following.
Does anyone know more about her?
