Looking for connections to the America Jane Quaid and John Long family.
John was born 1848 TN, he is the son of Edward Long b:1810 AL and Alcey S; (possible Stewart) of TN born 1814.

John is listed in the 1850 Hopkins Co, Texas census with family.I have been unable to find the LONG family prior to the 1850 census.

I descend through the Robert (BoB Long family of Truce Jack County Texas line.
