My mother's 2nd name is Quay, an aunt of her's also had the name of Quay. Her aunt would have been born abt 1880-1890 in TX. I know this family always used the names of family even in my generation. Some of this family was in Virgina during 1700 century, moved to TN early 1800 and to TX 1873. I have an aunt that is 90 and says this was a family name. Some of this family comes from Wales, Ireland and Scotland I guess 1650 to 1720. Some of the surnames I have for the 1700 and 1800 are Boone, Bird/Byrd, Coleman, Anderson and Southall. Some of this family left no trail to their past due to wars and acts of nature. AM
