Surnames: Queales in Dublin circa late 1860s?
Me again. Still looking for clues to the origins of my Great Grandmother Mary Anne Queale. She married my GGF John Thomas Fludgate some time in the 1860s, probably in Dublin. JT was a Royal Artillery soldier from London posted as a gunner to Dublin Castle. Family legend says Mary Anne and her family came to Dublin in the aftermath of the Great Famine. She had a sister, Margaret Queale. Margaret was a midwife who delivered Mary Anne's first child, my great uncle Charles Fludgate, born Dublin in 1869. Appreciate any clues. And a warm welcome given to all cousins, distant or otherwise.
