5) Venance b. 10 Oct 1861 (GC Ch.: v. 2, p. 228). I haven't yet identified any further information on this son, although he was still living at the 1870 census.

6) Emelie b. abt 1863 (1870 Census). Southwest Louisiana Records identifies a daughter of Venance and Adelaide (Melaide) married Fernest Daigle 29 Mar 1882 (Rayne Ch.: v. 1, p. 65). The 1900 Acadia Parish census shows Fernest's wife "Delaide" as born in Mar 1860, which appears possibly to be Emelie.

7) Anna b. 25 Dec 1866 (CP Ch.: v. 1, p. 108). Southwest Louisiana Records identifies a daughter of Venance and Adelaide (Agnes) married Onesime Caruthers 17 Nov 1884 (Rayne Ch.: v. 1, p. 91). The 1900 Acadia Parish census shows Onesime's wife "Agnes" as born in Dec 1864, which appears possibly to be Anna.
