Classification: Query
Surnames: QUEEN, GLORE
Hello,
I was reading the 'Foxfire #9' book and thought maybe these names that were mentioned in the book would be helpful to someone. These people lived in Passover, Rabun Co., GA, which is now called Mountain City. The father was named:
Patton D. Queen. His wife was Ada.Thier children were:
Ollie(Queen)Glore, her spouse was Ernest Glore
Lizzie - daughter
Cecil - son
Lamon - son
Gervace - daughter
Annie - daughter
Judging from the picture of the family this is most likely the order of thier birth.
A grandson who was interviewed for the article in the book was: Jack Queen, although it does not specify who his father is. Only that Patton is his grandfather.
I believe that is all of the information that was specific.
Hope this helps someone.
