The BC Quesnels are descended from Olivier Quesnel of St Malo, arrived 1676 at Montreal, 15/5/1719 at Lachine, 75 yrs old. Married Catherine Prudhomme 1680 Montreal. Their first child was Jean, born 15/10/1681, who had a son, "ENFANT NATUREL" (mother: Marie-Louise ..., Panis): JEAN-BAPTISTE b 28/11/1702 in Lachine.

I believe from records at the DAR Library in Washington, DC, that this JEAN-BAPTISTE QUESNEL at some time moved south to the then British Colonies. One of his descendents fought in the Revolutionary War, and it's this lineage that I wish to trace, hence my interest in the QUESNEL HISTORY BOOK. Does it have a record of this JEAN-BAPTISTE QUESNEL?
