I found a hand-typed manuscript on the Quin family in America in a "free Box" at a yard sale in Sumner Co., TN. The family giving the sale didn't know how it came to be in their possession, hence the *free* disposal. As a family researcher, I couldn't bear to see it tossed away when someone out there might be looking for just this information! The TN State Archives had no interest in it as there is no noticeable link to anyone in TN. I am hopeful that somewhere, someone will see this and have an interest in this manuscript. The lady who did this research also left her DAR certificate in the book -- Willie Quin East from the Horseshoe Robertson Chapter. Please contact me and give me whatever documentation you possess on this line(s) and I'll see that the manuscript goes to its proper home.
