I have recently learned that my great-grandmother's maiden name was Quinlan. Her name is Margaret (b. Jan. 18,1869) and was the youngest child born to John (b. 1820) and Margaret (b. 1840) Quinlan. The census shows that John immigrated from Ireland Free State in 1830. I believe he would have been about 10 years old. The oldest daughter born of this marriage was Kate (b. 1860), followed by 4 sons: John (b. 1861), Martin (b. 1863), Thomas (b. 1864), and Patrick (b. 1866). They resided in Cuyahoga County in Cleveland, Ohio where, I have been told, many descendants still live today. My Grandmother is Mercedes "Betty" Cecelia Miller McKovsky, and daughter of Margaret Quinlan, daughter (b. 1869).

I am trying to learn my Gr. Gr. Grandmother's maiden name, when she immigrated and where both originated from in Ireland...and anything else like names of their parents, religion, etc. Thank you, Lorrie (Kenny) Mclauchlan
