Isaac Quintard of Stamford, CT. in 1776
Capt. Isaac Quintard and Filer Dibble, both of Stamford, were suspected of assisting a British officer to thepossession of certain barrels of powder stored at said Quintard's house, but Quintard claimed to be innocent and Dibble published a confession and recantation of toryism.
