I'm researching my Rascoe family, and I'd like to know whether it is related to Racicot families in France, Canada and Britain. Does anyone know of any connections? Are the two families genetically related?

I'd also like to know what is the origin or derivation of the name Racicot.

Some Rascoes came in very early times from a source in Bosnia. Has anyone heard of any Bosnian Raskos or Roskos or Rascoviches who are related to French or Canadian Rascicots, or any indication of a Bosnian connection?
