Robert Radakovich, 67, of White Oak, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, in UPMC McKeesport. He was born June 29, 1941, in Duquesne, the son of the late Michael and Susan Bobcek Radakovich. He was retired from US Steel Duquesne Works, where he worked as a metallurgical foreman. He was also retired from the Department of Defense, federal building. He was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Duquesne. He was president of the Board of Century Heritage Federal Credit Union and a member of the Monroeville-Pitcairn Sportsmen's Club. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was the beloved husband of 41 years to Anne "Cookie" Petruski Radakovich. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Jean Petruski, of White Oak. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, with the Very Rev. David Lesko officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
