Classification: Query
Surnames: RADCLIFF(E), RATCLIFF(E), RATLIFF
Many families are now participating in DNA studies to try and determine
whether they descend from a common ancestor. Their purpose in doing
this is to gain evidence which might help to tie one "brickwall" ancestor
to another and to see if their variant spelled clans are related. Well, a
Radcliff whose ancestors are from Pennsylvania and a Radcliff whose
ancestors are from Virginia took the plunge and forged ahead with DNA
testing and found that they are related. Through DNA testing we can find
out about the association of Radcliff(e), Ratcliff(e), and Ratliff families.
Now for the big question: "Who is ready to take the plunge and have
their DNA studied?" The elements necessary to starta surname project
and to receive special pricing is that a minimum of six participants are required.
