Have you heard from anyone on this yet? These people are a distant connection to one of my great-grandmothers, Gertrude Zimmer (her mother was Apollonia Esch), out of Rheinland-Pfalz. On another direct line we have good Rademacher info, but I have not been able to make a reliable connection between this Heinrich Rademacher who came to Westphalia in the 1840s and the two earlier immigrant Rademachers: Bernard & Franz (my great-great-grandfather) who were from Heggen in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
We also have other Pohl connections. A researcher in Germany says that these Rademachers in Rheinland-Pfalz had come down from the Lichtringhausen - Heggen area at an earlier time. I have no great faith in this, as he is relying on Johann Rademacher being a "unique" name. I have been in touch with a sixth cousin in Heggen-Finnentrop, and she says Rademacher is a common name in Germany.
