I found some additional information for you. As I said Wenzel was born in New York. When he was a young man he moved to Chickasaw cty, IA. he worked as a farm hand and eventually bought 80 acres of wild praire land on which he established his home. He later bought an additional 40 acres. He moved to Washington upon retirement. He was married to Mrs. Christine (Lansing) Honeymann, widow of William Honeymann. She had four children from her first marriage August, Al, Julius, and Ludwig. She had six children with Wenzel they are as follows Joseph, John, Frances, Emma, Adaline(deceased), and William (deceased). When Joseph the eldest who is the subject of this sketch turned 21 his father bought him a tract of 120 acres of wild land in section 24, Freeland Township, Lac qui Parle Cty. Mn. He married Jessie Gow of Providence Township, Lac Qui Parle Cty December 14, 1905. To this union was born two children Myrtle and Frances. John and Joesephs brother moved to Rock Cty. Mn.
