i am just starting this geneology search on my father's side of the family,,,his name being charles r. rae, sr. ,,,his father was robert rae,,,who had brothers william rae,,edward rae,,charlie rae,,,they all had settled in the brooklyn, ny area,,,as mentioned previously their father was named alexander rae,,married to a sarah,,,cannot recall her maiden name,,,i willl have to look up the documentatioin of where in scotland they orginated,,,i do have the info,,,my father kept excellent records and documentation,,i will share with all when i locate it,,,but i would love to know if any of us are possibly related??
all of the more recent relations of my grandfather were all avid muscicians in vaudeville,,,my grandfather played the bango,,,i have ability to scan photos which i would love to share if requested,,,we could maybe recognize family resemblances?? do any of you 'rae's' have photo availibilty?? keeep in touch,,one thing i know,,alll of the rae's i have known in my life have beeen most mild mannered individuals :)
