Doris Arlene Patterson . Johns, Michigan
Formerly of Lansing, Michigan, Doris Arlene Patterson died May 11, 2006 at the age of 84.
She was born on May 21, 1921 in Olivet, MI, the daughter of Dorion and Helen (Hoffner) Raidel.

She was co-author of a book on genealogy, "Messenger Family in Portage and Geauga Counties, Ohio"; was an avid genealogist; and an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Doris married Hollis B. Patterson December 26, 1937 in Indiana.
Doris is survived by her husband; daughter, Janet (Bruce) Cornelius; son, Douglas (Gloria) Patterson; grandchildren, Steven Dodos, Lenny (Noreen) and Erik Patterson; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Dodos, Jennifer (Grady) Fallon, Benjamin Dodos, Justin and Jesse Patterson. In addition to her parents,
Doris was preceded in death by her grandsons, Anthony Dodos and Patrick Patterson.
Private services have already been held and burial will be at a later date.

RAIDEL Darlene

Darlene Raidel, 51, died Sat. Dec. 12, 2009, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.

Darlene was born July 8, 1958, to the late Michael and Angeline Stellato Krpicak in Youngstown, Ohio.

Darlene was a 1976 graduate of McDonald High School and had worked for 10 years at Farmers National Bank in Niles, Ohio as a bank associate.

She is survived by her husband, Edward C. Raidel, whom she married May 12, 1979, and her children, Jon M. Raidel and Shayna A. Raidel.

She is preceded in death by Edward and Ann Delon, who raised her.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, Ohio where visitation will be one hour prior to the service and also on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

The family requests any material contributions be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research, 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1400, New York, NY 10122 in her memory.
