Hello all,

I'm trying to trace back the roots of my 3rd great grandmother Martha Rainbow, who was born in England (I believe Yardley Hastings, North Hamptonshire to be more specific).

I don't have many clues to go on. She was born about 1810. I'm more interested in the line of Rainbows she descends from.

In the 1851 England Census I have her living with her husband Isaac Terry/Tarry and children and her mother Elizabeth Rainbow is listed as living in the household as well. Her mother was about 75 at this time so she was born around (1776) and was also born in Yardley Hastings.

I can only find her mother Elizabeth in 1 other census and that is the 1841 census. She is living alone so I'm assuming she's a widow. She also has a 4 year old child living with her (Thomas Rainbow). Possibly a grand-child?

So far I can't seem to figure out her husbands first name, or her maiden name. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.
