Hello all. My paternal grandmother was a Rainbow. In tracing her line I am back to c1745 in London area (Edward Rainbow son of another Edward from Chiswick). Edward's son William Thomas married a Lucy Rainbow, daughter of Robert Rainbow c 1801 in London. I have various wills etc, and believe that Robert is a son of Thomas Rainbow/Anne Godson (Thomas also married previously to Phillipa Hunt...although the link is a bit tenuous.
