Classification: Query
Surnames: RAMBIN KING SPARKS
I found Alexis RAMBIN and Bertrand RAMBIN in the 1850 census for Nacogdoches County, Texas. The name has been transcribed as RUMLY not even RUMBY. Francois Alexis RAMBIN and Bertrand RAMBIN were two of the sons of Jean Baptiste RAMBIN of Louisiana. Alexis or Alexander RAMBIN had a son, James RAMBIN, who married first to Sarah Cavin and second to Anna Leclare KING. James RAMBIN had children Evie, Mollie Francis, Vergie Rosine, Emma Ethel, Odis Alexander, Jesse James, Ottie Kye RAMBIN. Several of these children are buried at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Appleby, Texas. It is online.
I descend from Ottie Kye or O.K. Rambin. Evie and Mollie RAMBIN married SPARKS brothers. The RAMBIN girls married SPARKS, WALDRON, MUCKLEROY in 1910 to 1920s.
