Hi I am soledad ramesh, Ramhes, daughter of Johan Ramhez, and Sofhia Molina de ramehs I am looking for my father don't have an idea if He's still alive, If He is He is about 89-95 yearsold and hes son of a middle eastern family. Please reply if you know any whereabouts. thank you.

1930 Census: Kentucky, Muhlenberg Co., Dist. 3, Dist. 16 lists NELLIE RAMES as 6 year old daughter of Monroe and Blanch Epley. Does anyone have any link to this? Thanks. e-mail me at genweb@ev1.net

My Grandfather and GGfather were both named Hermann Charles Rhames. GGF arrived from Germany in 1858 under the name Rein, later his land records in Homer township, IL were in the name Rheim. Census records show Rames, Rehames, Reims all in IL and I know for certainly they were all my GGF.

I am looking for Ruth Rames and her sister Helen Rames ; The had a brother Guss posobly Augustus ; Their mother was clara noll ; Ruth died in 1997/98 in california under the married name Ruth Munson ; any info would be appreciated ; caryl

I am looking for information on my great-great grandmother's family. Her name was Anna Rames before she married William Frank Wieters. Her family was from Fennimore, Wisc. and moved to South Dakota. Does anyone have a Joseph Raimes/Rames born in KY? Married (1) Franky Freels/Freely (2) Annie Taylor.
Children of Joseph and Franky: Elias, 1862-1945. Lavinia, abt. 1864. Ceily Freels/Freely, daughter of Frankiy's first marriage. Children of Joseph and Annie: Henry D. Raimes, abt. 1881, and Joseph I. Raimes, 1885-1907, Albert Taylor, born 1877, son of Annie.

These people were in the counties of Union and Webster in Ky.

I am not aware that the name was ever spelled Rhames. The family immigrated from Prussia in about 1850 and settled in Wisconsin. A few years later they moved to South Dakota. There is some thought in the family that the name may have been spelled differently in Germany. The name John or Johnnie does appear in my family tree.
