BOARDMAN, Ohio – Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fabrizio Funeral Home for John Joseph Ranalli, 67, who passed away Saturday afternoon, August 11, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Mr. Ranalli was born Oct. 28, 1944, in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Joseph and Mary Russ Ranalli and was a lifelong member of the community.

Mr. Ranalli was self-employed with the Ranalli Heating and Air Conditioning.
He was a member of the Safe Harbor Church in Boardman and the Lowellville Rod and Gun Club. He was a 1964 graduate of Boardman High School and a member of the school band, where he played the saxophone and trombone.

Besides his mother of Boardman, he is survived by his wife, the former Lynda Pohlman; sons Joey (Tammy) Ranalli of Mineral Ridge, Ohio and Tony (Cheryl) Ranalli of Cleveland, Ohio; daughter Tracy and Mark Wining of Newton Falls, Ohio; his stepdaughter, Tina Dill of Boardman, to whom he was her caretaker; sister Diane Carbon of Boardman, Ohio; and brothers Fred (Diana) Ranalli of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Ed (Glyndora) Ranalli of Liberty, Ohio.
Among his seven grandchildren, he leaves two grandsons, Sean and Jacob Dill; brother-in-law Lee Pohlman; several nieces and nephews; and several close cousins and countless friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home
