Thank you I thought I had found those records but not sure. Every record it's spelled different. We forget that many people couldn't read or write then. Clerks wrote a lot of phonetic names. Italians were a lesser class too....I was told that John came over with his family, which appears to be the case. I also was told that teresa's brother sort of arranged her marriage to John and that was why and when she came here....
I live in Madrid Iowa now. There are many Italians here as this was a coal mining town. I have good friends that are Piziali and Pagliai. Sam pagliai started pizza places and set up relatives in the businesses-Iowa, MN, ILL...
