My great-grandfather was Wolf RAPHAEL, b. in Mietschisko near Posen, Germany (today Poznan, Poland). He had six children:
1. Nathan. Lived in Paris. Had three children: Rosa, Vally and Hugo who all emigrated to the USA.
2. Abraham.
The following are from a 2nd marriage.
3. Helene (Tante Lenchen). Was married to the journalist writer Oskar Schweriner.
4. Louis b. 1855, d. 1927. Emigrated to the USA in 1873. Lived died in San Angelo TX.
5. Jakob b. 1864, d. 1943 in KZ Theresienstadt. Lived in Zwickau and Apolda near Weimar.
6. Isidor (my grandfather) b. 1868, d. 1942 in holocaust.
Lived in Berlin.
I am interested in the following:
a. The names of Wolf Raphael's two wives. The names Friedel and Hannchen appear in my records, but are uncertain.
b. Details of Nathan and Abraham.
I should be pleased to hear from anybody who may know anything of any one of the above, or who somehow may be connected with our family.
