My earliest known Rapp ancestor was Georg(e) Rapp, b. 27 Apr 1626, d.? m. Euphrosine Abelig. They lived in Oberndorf, Wuertemberg, Germany. My first ancestor to emigrate to the US was Johannes Rapp, b. 20 Jan 1770, d. abt May 1834, m. 1798 Maria Catherine Hauser, b. 1775-1787, d. aft 1846. Both died in Columbiana/Mahoning County, Ohio.

I'm currently looking for more info on my line in Crawford, Huron and Erie Counties in Ohio.

Other lines that married into my Rapp's include Stierhoff, Curtis, Wongler, Dellinger, Guiss/Guise/Geissinger, Spaeth, Sennett.
