I am looking for information on Rabbi Shimone/Simon (Amdur )Rappaport...He was from Latvia/Lithuania/Russia and took his wifes name of Rappaport to escape military survice in Europe.They came to the US. He had a brother Moses/Moshe who probably went by Amdur,but not sure...Rabbi Simon (Amdur)Rappaport was a shochat and cantor......There is little information on him,what about brother Moses????? Does this ring a bell with any Rappaport families???
